Andrew Williams is an animator, director, writer, and technologist residing in the historic ghost town of Jerome, Arizona. With a self-taught background in 3D animation, he has spent nearly a decade creating immersive concert visuals for some of the world's most popular musical acts, including Eminem, Kid Cudi, Katy Perry, and others. Recognizing the transformative potential of generative AI, Williams became an early adopter of the technology, exploring its capabilities as both a visual tool and a narrative medium. These experiments led to the creation of Latent Places, a surrealist sci-fi horror series that follows the Ministry of Latent Places, a fictional organization tasked with the study, containment, and eradication of mysterious "Latent Anomalies." Today, Williams continues to work at the intersection of creative storytelling and emerging technologies. Drawing from a lifetime of eclectic influences, he focuses on advancing AI-driven production techniques while writing and developing the thought-provoking universe of Latent Places.
